Works great for me. Used this NAS enclosure to create a 4TB NAS in Raid 1 for my digital movies and backups. Configuring the NAS through the web browser was pretty straight forward, although I'm not using any sophisticated features. The drive runs smooth and fairly quiet. Streaming movies over the ethernet to my AppleTV and HDTV has been smooth -- no problems whatsoever. The best part is that it plays nice with both my desktop running XP and my MacBook running Snow Leopard. I'm able to see the drive and read/write files on both machines. Buying this enclosure and 4 1TB hard drives separate was a lot cheaper than the options that are bundled together.I'm glad I went with this option. SUCKS This is a peice of garbage, after transfering 2.5TB of media files, it dumped the RAID 5 config and lost all data. Had to re-build RAID, DO NOT BUY, the tech support said "buy a new case." cause they never had someone with this issue.
