Works great with EIDE drive..4
Bought this to move files between computers with an EIDE drive.

Installed a 500GB Western Digital drive in it. Had to run disk management for XP computer to fully see the 500GB but once that was done it works great.

Not much noise and the blue light is unobtrusive. Some people will keep their external hard drives on all the time. This is not a good practice and hence I turn off this device (via the switch in the back) when not needed.

So far so good. Installation of the hard drive wasn't too difficult.
